Roamhound is a small online shop built around one idea: it should be easy to bring your dog along.
Most dog gear is made for the walk around the block. We're interested in everything past that: the drive to the trailhead, the weekend at the cabin, the flight to see family, the bike ride that's a few miles too long for short legs.
How we choose what to sell
We keep the shop short on purpose. Every product has to solve a specific problem that comes up when you travel with a dog, and it has to fit into one of three places:
- Trail. What your dog wears and what you carry on the walk itself.
- Car. What keeps the drive calm and the back seat clean.
- Travel. What makes the bigger trips possible.
What you can expect from us
- Straight descriptions. We list sizes, weight limits and what's in the box. If a product has a limit, we say so on the page.
- No invented urgency. No countdown timers, no made-up "was" prices and no reviews we wrote ourselves.
- Honest safety language. Our car products keep your dog in place and your seats clean. They are not crash-tested restraints, and we won't describe them as if they were.
- US shipping. Orders ship from partner warehouses in the United States. Items in one order can come from different warehouses and arrive in separate boxes.
